2wks of promoting beer really opened my eyes to the world. i gotta admit tt my 4 promoter frens jun xian, yuan zhi, eddie n weilun helped me to release a lot of my stress, all doing it in different ways. i'll really miss them, plus the cashiers who talked to me n guided me along, plus my team leaders dorine, linda, "cd", n of coz, 01 the manager.. they're a great bunch of ppl.. even though working there is tiring, i'll never mind if any of them asked me to return to help out..
today is cny eve, got reunion dinner.. my laogong is back home as well!! =D hopefully can go out tmr.. i still have to finish packing up.. haiz.. i hate packing up..

i'm praying for fri to come.. tt's the day my beer promoter job will end.. n i'll be able to enjoy my cny with my laogong soon.. i realised tt i got more cuts n blue blacks doing this job compared to the number of cuts n blue blacks combined together for the past 18yrs of my life.. small n big cuts n blue blacks.. i dun even know how the hell i got them sometimes.. they just appeared suddenly.. i really am praying for fri to come.. i've had enough of carrying boxes of tiger beer.. but i still got a few more days.. n one of them will be especially long n tiring for me.. coz need to carry those unsold beer outside back into the storeroom.. wth.. ask a girl to do tt..
but the money is still gd lahz.. haha.. oh well.. with my angpao money combined together, i think i can watch several movies during cny period.. hahaha.. of coz i wun spend this kind of money lahz.. but i really am planning to go catch a movie during cny.. maybe go watch i not stupid too.. haha..
i'm counting down.. ouch my finger hurts from all the typing using my injured finger..

i'm mad at myself. mad, as in angry, not siao. something happened just now while i was selling beer. it made me realise how soft i am, n tt i'm totally not prepared fully to enter the harsh society. the ugly side of singaporeans was also displayed right in front of me at tt point of time. i really dun wish to dwell on it, but i was really irked out by the couple. haiz.. i wish i had been firm in my stand..
i'm getting lesser slp now.. mostly coz of my job.. n partly coz my body will auto wake up at 8+ in the morning everyday.. can't get to slp now.. even though i'm yawning away.. talking to yuan zhi now.. jun xian disappeared again.. oh well.. i guess a while later i'll KO liaoz..

its good to have frens ard lahz.. esp when u're going to carry heavy cartons of beer.. i'm lucky enough to meet 2 friendly guys who are willing to help me carry things n engage my attention once in a while to chase away my boredom when i'm doing my job.. they're none other than yuan zhi n jun xian. they're the yeo's promoter n coca cola promoter working at queenstown ntuc with me, n i'm really glad tt i met them. a toast to u guys :)
anyway, my working hours had been extended suddenly yesterday, n from today onwards, i'll be working from 11am to 11pm. 12 long hrs.. haiz.. if the money wasnt gd, i wouldnt have taken this job.. so i should perservere lahz.. at least, the 2 guys will also be working long hrs.. haha.. lets suffer together lahz.. just one more wk!
laogong wun be booking out today, coz he's outfield.. haiz.. wun see him till next wk cny.. well at least he'll have a wk of break n i'll be finally free from the job, so we got more time to spend together! =D

well after 3 days of standing in front of a big stack of beer n trying to tempt more ppl to buy tiger beer, i finally realise how hard it is to earn money. it was pure tortue to be standing there, with nothing much to do n getting rejected by ppl. standing there for 9 hrs yesterday n today was pretty much back-aching, n carrying those heavy boxes of beer was back-breaking. now can imagine how painful this job is. luckily, the pay is quite good. haha.
my dad came to find me every night during these 3 days.. dunno if he'll continue coming every night till i finish my job.. anyway, he tried his best to make me figure out wad i want to achieve in my future. although he didnt really succeed lahz, but at least he inspired me to rank my choices, n pursue my dreams with gusto n pride. hope such attitude will help me for my future. well i'll just wait for my results to come out, before making further decisions. hopefully, in my near future, i would not need to worry much. tt's wad everybody is hoping for, isnt tt so?
wun be seeing my laogong for 2 wks. he's going outfield. haiz.. will miss him so much.. need to wait until new yr!! but at least, i can get busy in my job, n it won't make me think too much..

today is a gd day! haha it didnt rain in the morning!! finally, after wks of raining, the sun finally had the chance to shine through the clouds again! woohoo~ well its the 1st day of work, n boy was it tiring. i reached there ard 4.30pm, n i had a rather scary time with the i/c. she had a loud voice, complete with a round body n a rather weird temper. met some guys working for APB, n learnt how to stock up n do stuff. stocking up took almost 1hr, n its a back-breaking job. after tt, stood at the tent area outside the ntuc, trying to lure potential customers to buy something tt i would perhaps never drink at all. a rather fulfilling day, considering tt i sold off 6x10's packs n 2x24's packs of tiger beer. some weird guy bought ABC as well, though tt's the product tt somebody said no one will buy. the bad part came when it was time for me to leave. i asked the i/c to sign on my timesheet, n she kicked up a fuss abt the displays tt i had put up, n the premiums tt were supposed to be given only when i'm there. god i wonder if she's purposely kicking up a fuss or something. oh well. hope it'll never happen again.
now i'm prepared to just dry my hair, crawl into my bed n slp. but i havent watch my recorded 9pm show. i hope my sis come home soon.
pls, to those living near queenstown area, n those who pity me, pls come n find me at queenstown ntuc between 5pm and 9pm to buy tiger beer from me. help me complete a gd sales record. thanx very much. haha.

today went yiting's house to make potato salad! haha it was rather fun lahz, though we spent quite a long time. the end product: of coz taste very nice lahz! haha.. stayed at her house for a while more then went home..
tmr i'll be starting work le.. but before i go to queenstown, i still have to run down to orchard to get some stuff from adecco.. haiz.. so troublesome.. waste my money also..
oh well.. my free time will be ending soon.. at least i've finished packing most of my things.. hehe.. n i'll be seeing my laogong again soon! =D

another cold morning.. haiz.. rather depressing lehz..
yest was really great.. met up with xingle, imran, belle, mingchee, liwei, jason n of coz febrin.. went fish n co to eat.. wah i spent almost $30 there.. should have gone seoul garden instead lehz.. oh well.. i ate quite a lot.. n drank quite a lot too.. still a bit heart pain over the amt i spent on food tt's not up to standard.. but well, the company was still great.. haha.. almost couldnt recognise febrin.. he's slightly slimmer now lahz.. n his attire more "modern" liaoz.. haha.. but the way he walk, still the same.. haha.. hope tt there's still chance to meet up, coz i havent give him his card!
my laogong booked in yest night.. tonight booking out again.. but only in the evening.. so can't go out :( haiz.. really miss him when he's gone..

these few days have been rather depressing for me.. coz of the cold weather, i'm now down with a slight flu.. i hope it'll get going soon.. i've been bundling myself into a human cocoon.. wearing my trackpants n jacket n drinking so much hot water.. but it doesnt help tt its been raining everyday as well.. haiz.. i really pray tt i will get well soon.. i don't want to go on slping n waking with my blocked nose, forcing to breathe through my mouth..
while i was idling away at home one day, there was a sudden thought in my mind.. its a school day yet i'm sitting at home n rotting.. its like i've entered another phase of my life.. in the past, i'm always watching out when the hols will end.. n rushing to finish up my homework at the last min.. n dreading the last day of my hols.. but now, its like i'm totally free from school commitments.. no deadlines, no homework.. best of all, no exams! well i realised that its time to grow up lahz.. at times i find myself reacting to things in a childish way.. its time for me to change my bad character lahz.. hope i'll become a better person soon..
another friend of mine has entered NS.. good luck to u victor! sorry forgot abt the date n didnt msg u good luck.. hehe.. take care! 2wks of confinement awaits :P

today went for training.. learnt the mechanics of the beer promoter job.. the person called me a few mins ago n told me tt i'm posted to the ntuc at queenstown.. in my mind was only one word, "WHAT??!!" yah never expected myself to end up there.. thought it could be nearer like bukit merah.. at least i could save on my bus fare by walking.. haiz.. oh well.. the bad thing is tt i'll only start work next fri.. gosh.. one whole wk of pay.. *sobs* oh well, at least this sun i'll be free to meet up with febrin n a few others.. i'm gonna spend so much money again before i even start working.. haiz.. haha maybe everyday i'll start work 2 hrs earlier, then get OT pay :P although it can get a bit boring, but its still an experience.. haha.. even my dad say it could be gd exposure for me..
dunno if my laogong will get another long weekend, since next tue is hari raya haji.. i hope so lahz, i want to spend time with him again before i start work..

well the first day of 2006 was spent rotting at home.. wanted to go out, but it started to rain before me n my dear could decide where to go.. haiz.. so stuck at home.. surfed the net, read comics, watched tv.. the company wasnt bad, just tt the weather made me slpy.. gosh.. wad was the being up there thinking.. raining on the 1st day of the yr.. gdness.. oh well..
today, finally could get out.. haha.. went to meet my dear at cle.. n i've started to pay adult fare while going out.. its so much more than my usual student fare.. gdness.. maybe i should just try walking to wherever i want to go.. s'pore isnt tt big anyway.. haha.. juz kidding lahz.. went to jp, ate an early lunch while other ppl were eating a late breakfast, then walked ard for a while.. went back cle to walk ard a bit more, bought a skirt for $12.. tried to push down the price to $10, but i guess my price-slashing skills aren't tt gd yet.. haiz.. went home after saying a loooong gdbye to my dear :P
realised tt one mth plus after my a's ended, i've still not completely finish packing my stuff.. cny is coming, n my mum is nagging already.. i'll be starting work soon as a beer promoter.. so anybody who's interested to buy beer, pls kindly proceed to where i'll be posted, n approach me for help.. i'll gladly offer some help, n i'll pay u handsomely if u buy alot of beer from me.. but pls, dun drink n drive.. haha.. ok i'm into crapping mood liaoz..

went to watch fireworks on mount faber yesterday night.. walking up there was really tiring, but watching the fireworks was worth the effort.. below are some of the nicer ones taken.. hehe happy new year everyone! :) hope tt everybody will have a better year ahead!

30/12/05: the long awaited grad night is finally here! haha really glad that those who could made it really came.. n tt all my friends are still happy n healthy.. the guys looked more mature, the girls looked elegant.. the food was rather nice, got black pepper prawns, fried rice, soup, roast chicken, n even my favourite dessert, mango juice with sago.. haha.. well below are some of the photos taken..
the 3 interacters in 04a4! haha really enjoyed spending time with them, n really hope we can still keep in contact..
