i suddenly realised i have procrastinated on blogging on my trip to malacca.. haha.. alright then, shall do so now.
1st day (21/12/06): met up with my relatives at the tour agency at beach road, n boarded the bus at ard 8.30am. we crossed the borders of s'pore at ard 9.15am, n went through the checkpt at malaysia as well. then, its a looong bus ride to yong peng, where we stopped for a break. tt was 10.50am already. i think moving from the east to the west of s'pore is faster than tt lorz, n the bus is already travelling at ard 100km/hr.. so u can imagine how long the trip was. after tt, it was another loooooooonger bus trip to malacca. luckily the bus trip was rather smooth, so i slept for an hr or so i think. along the way, we saw areas flooded by the heavy rain, n these floods really make those in s'pore seem small in scale. there were some houses tt had half the doorway filled with water. i wonder if they moved their furniture away or something.
we reached our hotel, called century mahkota melaka at ard 1pm, n after checking in, we went for a late lunch at the foodcourt. at first went shopping for a while, then my cousins went to cut hair at a nearby hairdresser, so we followed. found a really gd deal there, hair cut was only 5ringgit (tt's like only $2 in s'pore), so all of us had a hair cut there. haha it was a job quite well done, so it was definitely worth it. went shopping with my mum after tt, while my relatives went back to the hotel first. bought quite a few things (for frens n for mum) n then we met them again to eat dinner at a small "coffeeshop". the tea was so hot there, my cousin burnt his fingers on the teacup n spilt it. n it happened 2 times. i didnt touch the tea at all until dinner ended. went back to hotel after tt, n watched some tv. not much programs tt were in chinese, so my mum had nothing much to do. we went to slp at ard 12.

horrible flooding in malacca.. luckily the flood waters didnt get into the bottom of the bus where our luggage were..
the mahkota clinic (or something liddat) right beside our hotel.. haha.. if anything happens, we can just go there! luckily we didnt have the need to enter there.
tt's the shopping centre tt we went to, its just in front of our hotel..
its the mini kitchen in the hotel room, but they put there "no cooking", so i wonder wad the stove is for.. hmm..

ok feeling lazy already, so i shall continue on this later.. or tmr.. =P
